Natural Gas Purification

Usage of activated carbon in natural gas production and purification applications have gained immense popularity within the past few years, especially considering the major role it plays in the adsorption of mercury, a dangerous contaminant. We offer methodically architecture activated carbon products for the removal of sulphur compounds, mercury, contaminant organics and other impurities found in natural gas streams. These products are effectively used by key players in the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) industries. Our carbons are also used to prevent pollution resulting from natural gas industry operations in areas of water pollution, by-product refining, and from the combustion of fossil fuels that produce greenhouse gases and other air pollutants including nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, volatile organic compounds, and heavy metals as by-products. Another application of Vadivel Cocotech Activated Carbons in the natural gas industry is for Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology which enables the efficient storage of natural gas.
